Commit Ability to drop old frames caused an unrecouverable queue state in longer mtl runs. Reverts the commit to restore previous behavior. Revert "Add: Ability to drop old frames" This reverts commit 1f0513a.

This should be temporary revert. We want the feature to drop old frames, just without regression.
