Why does M-[ get sent when yazi is started? Tmux causes problems with it (https://github.com/tmux/tmux/issues/4547) but I am curious why does this key press happen?

tmux interferes with the user's actual terminal and apps in various ways, it's likely that tmux incorrectly interprets the CSI sequences, which are terminal responses sent to Yazi, as key events.

Yazi as a CLI app neither sends nor can send key events to tmux - it can only passively receive them, hence these events can only originate from the user's terminal.
