Describe the question

Hi all!

Since the last update, I can not deselect items, after I yanked. That is, I select, I yank, and no matter if I paste or not, it can not clear the selection. Neither with the toggle, nor with select all -> inverse selection.
I can deselect with visual mode, but then at least one item keeps being selected.

Also, I think until the last update, yanking changed the color of the selection indicator, which it does not on the current version.

Selecting and deselecting or selecting and then renaming, eg., leads to no problems.
I tried this on two machines, both exhibit the same behavior. I also tried with a clean slate, that is moving the yazi config.

Is this a bug or is there a problem on my end?

As per the manual, you clear pending yank/cut states using either the Y or X keys (capitals). Does that not work for you?

Thank you so much, I somehow overlooked the notification!

Upon investigating I found that deselecting actually works.
Where I went wrong was: I toggled the selection after yanking, which would yank and select. Since all three states use the same indicator right besides the file, I didn't get that now the file is both, and that I need to deselct and de-yank.

So, this solves my problem. I thought that selecting / and or yanking would overwrite the other one, not that the could happen at the same time.

Having said that, I ran into such issues after I yanked, pasted and then tried to delete something else. The yanked file was still in yank state and got deleted.

Do you happen to know whether this was somehow bugged? I replicated this behavior on two different machines (at two different points in time) with the same outcome.
I just tried again and it works as it should...
