What operating system is this? It's a dbus notification. You can turn notifications off by editing ~/.config/kew/kewrc. allowNotifications=0 |

Well, it's supposed to go away. I've had it happened to me too recently sometimes, and it's blue instead of the normal color. I don't know why. Some recent changes I guess that are a bit buggy. Don't know if it's the same issue for you though. It has an rc, and I encourage you to read the readme after the installation instructions, there are a lot of goodies there. |
