No way to turn off logo in sidebar if using _brand.yml

I'm building a website based on a _brand.yml file with logo references in it. My site needs a sidebar for navigating the syntax documentation of the tool and the sidebar inherits the logo from the _brand.yml. However, I'd like to turn that off without resorting to removing the logo from my _brand.yml file. Nothing I have tried so far works including setting logo: false and logo: ~ within sidebar, since quarto tries to validate this as a string.

Is there any way to achieve this currently or is it a missed use case that needs to be handled in an update?

Our resolveLogo() does not indeed allows for logo: false and if no logo specified in configuration, then it will use by default those of _brand.yml

So we'll add the feature.

I added the feature, and I am building a new pre-release so you could use it. Documentation PR is up to quarto-dev/quarto-web#1853
