you can do this today by using the update sensors command and sending it directly to the watchs service call: https://companion.home-assistant.io/docs/notifications/notification-commands#update-sensors from there you can define whatever interval you would like to force an update of the sensor, I dont know if it will be reliable though. Ideally if you had it hooked up to the phone you can use health connect and pull the data every minute from the phone using the sensor update frequency setting found in the companion app settings on the phone |

Describe the feature
Sending heartrate data from smart watches more frequently (every 5-10 mins)
Use cases
My wife has SVT, so when her heart rate goes above 130 id like to be notified. Home assistant can key off the heart rate value and send me a notification along with her GPS location. I have yet to find another app or solution that can do this.
Examples
From Samsung Galaxy 7 watch with the HA Assistant , detecting heart rate values every 5-10 mins. Reporting back to HA and setting up automation tasks to send notification messages with TTS high alerting.
i do this today just the reporting of heart rate values can be in the hours from themselves.. it's not frequent enough.
Anything else?
