In my case, I ran HA OS on Proxmox and then I configured VLAN Tagging and others in Proxmox. |

That doesn't solve the problem of having HA using the correct VLAN as primary. |

Alternatively, if Home Assistant were able to try connecting on other network interfaces and not fail until it tried all of them before deciding something on the LAN were unreachable, that'd also work. |

Describe your core improvement
There's no way to set up VLAN tagging or define the 'default' network in home assistant.
I appreciate that all of the auto-discovery appears to listen on all active interfaces, and that works great, since there often aren't great tools for forwarding those across VLAN boundaries. However, there's no way to assign the default network adapter used by Home Assistant, and when the supervisor(?) chooses, sometimes it picks poorly and the system isn't able to access resources it should be able to otherwise.
So I'd like the ability to add tagged VLAN network interfaces from the UI, as well as the ability to directly set the 'default' network for Home Assistant.
Current limitations
Default network is automatically assigned, and tagged VLANs can't be added easily.
Technical benefits
More reliable networking, better security by permitting improved network isolation, and reduced complexity for users.
