Extended Troubleshooting Options on Connectivity issue

Describe the feature

If the Android app is unable to connect to home assistant instance, it should offer extended troubleshooting features.

Currently, it only allows to wait and alter the home assistant instance url.

These troubleshooting features could include the following steps:

• Check if domain name of the URL is resolvable
• Check if port is on the IP reachable
• Check if IP behind domain name is reachable (ping)
• Check if TLS cert is valid

Use cases

I'm using a VPN to connect to my instance, sometimes the VPN doesn't work and the companion app times out. It would be helpful to see if the VPN is working correctly or some other parts are broken.

For users with public instances, this feature could also be helpful in case their network provider is doing funky things around DNS resolution or denying access to their service.

Hey thanks for your suggestion @mrueg. I've created an issue in the repository without a lot of content but linking to this discussion.

It is definitely something that a new contributors could take and I would help to deliver.

From a UI perspective, what I have in mind is a way to do an automated client-side connectivity check, something like this:

Indeed that's something like that that I've envisioned too. I would like whoever that take this to actually make it reusable so that we can automatically present it when we are not able to connect to the server (in a second PR).
