There are also many houses that have both a gas boiler and a heat pump. If we want to get really fancy: |

Only electricity and water are probably common for all houses. All the rest can vary a lot. Gas can be common somewhere but very rare elsewhere. Due to that, all the energy sources in the energy dashboard should be configurable. You should be able to rename the energy source to whatever you like. I don't have gas but I have district heating. It's not so nice that the title of my district heating consumption is Gas consumption on the dashboard. |

Maybe allowing to change the name from "gas" to anything else would be good. And allow multiple entries (like for solar production)? |

Great and useful idea: Multiple (heating-) energy sources are not uncommon. Our main house has combined heating using gas, district heating and a water-jacket fireplace. Heat pump coming next year. Each heating source has its own counters and costs. Symbols and naming options would be great! |

What type of request is this?
New dashboard feature
Existing card or feature name
{"Card" => "Energy"}
Describe the enhancement
There should be an option to replace the gas consumption (including the nice bubble) with an alternative heat source. At the moment, this would most likely be a heat pump, but it could also be district heating, a pellet boiler, or something else.
This way, it would also be clearly separated in the overview.
Use cases
This would allow you to see the different energyconsumption clearly seperated
