I was browsing Assimp's source code and I saw this: From what I understand aiAnimMesh defines 1 morph target - tied to the mesh (aiMesh). |

So apparently this must be an old comment.
aiAnimMesh is working perfectly fine to load morph targets (from an .fbx file at least).
