No insulin delivery possible when the loop is suspended on AAPS 3.4.0.0

Using AAPS 3.4.0.0 with Omnipod Dash on a Google Pixel 9a with Android 16.

On AAPS 3.4.0.0 when the loop is suspended, it is not possible to bolus insulin anymore, see attached screenshot. Also, on Nightscout this period shows as "OTHER" instead of "SUSPENDED" so there might be more implications.

On AAPS 3.3.2.1 this still worked as expected.

The bolus disabling is an intended behavior - I neither like it. With some slight code modifications it's working without hassle for me.

Is there any specific reason for this feature?

It’s a defect. You can't bolus if pump is disconnected but you should be able to bolus with loop suspended or on open loop (as you should be able to register a recordOnly bolus when pump is disconnected or suspended).

I don't think #3254 is relevant here, the changes from that pull request have been released since 3.3.0.0 and the intended behavior (regular boluses and basal rates are allowed while loop is suspended) works just fine on those releases. For me, this bug only started appearing after updating to 3.4.0.0.
