How to color icons in a custom theme?

The icons seem to be automatically tinted with the background color. Is there a way to override it via some css trick?

Context: I want to color the active icon in tab name as yellow.

Also, I do not understand yet how to style the items scrollbar :)

Thanks, valid enough. I'll check the default templates. Perhaps it will make sense to expose some css config vars for scrollbar and icon tint, so I'll hold on to marking this as resolved for now

I appreciate it, this could be the solution. But I think it would be nice to have the scrollbar natively follow the theme colors if Set colors for tabs, toolbar and menus is selected. From what I can see, the bundled dark themes suffer from this (If I'm not doing anying wrong). @hluk wdyt should I convert this to a feature request?

To automatically follow the system theme, navigate to ..\CopyQ\config\copyq\copyq.ini. Try changing the setting “theme=” to either “theme=Fusion” or “theme=Windows11”. These are built-in themes for the QT framework that can switch between the system's dark/light mode.

Ah, I see, it looks like the scrollbar is tightly coupled with the platform theme. Thank you again for the help!
