wsl status command does not show current kernel version. How can I fix it?

wsl status command does not show current kernel version. How can I fix it?

I'm trying to use USB devices and I know usbipd requires higher kernel version of 5.10.60.1.
Unfortunately, my current environment does not allow wsl --update.
So I had to build kernel and it seems that kernel is properly updated on my WSL environment.

$ uname -a
Linux KORCO089019 5.10.60.1-microsoft-standard-WSL2+ #1 SMP Thu Jun 23 11:07:54 KST 2022 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

However, the problem is "wsl status" does not show updated version and this causes usbipd attach fail because of lower kernel version.

wsl --status

I can solve this problem by re-installing WSL.
