Hi everybody, I'm just getting started into vibecoding using Claudecode and VS Code/Antigravity. I have no coding background, so I kind of just jump on my computer and beat poor Claude with a wrench till things look good.
To that end, I've been doing a lot of YouTube research, found Cole's channel, which is my favorite AI channel yet, and then I found out about Archon.
I had already been working on some ideas, including https://github.com/andrewtmouser-cell/vibecoding-os.git. The goal of this project was to go from vibecoding. Focusing on a more deliberate, step by step process for my Claudecode agent, a source for quality code examples in some sort of database, a project tracker and to do list that gets automatically updated, an attempt at adapting the MIT SEAL technique to automatically or semiautomatically improve my Claudecode outputs over time, and some other stuff.
Then I watched Cole's video on context engineering and realized I was trying to reinvent the wheel:) Other people smarter than me had very similar goals and ideas, and they were years ahead of me on the curve.
Does it work? I have no clue. I'm still cleaning things up and editing before I begin serious testing. And then once it is up and running well, my goal is to try implement it and use it for my other projects.
Which brings me to my post here. A mid to long term goal of mine is to see how compatible Archon is with my idea, which is laser focused on helping me do context engineering and generate quality code. Maybe I'll end up with a personalized version of Archon?
Does my little vibecoding for dummies, by a dummy repo have any value? TBD
Is Archon better? Probably
Does my idea offer anything that Archon does not? No idea. My council of AIs thinks it does, but they're morons.
And the question that interests me most, could/should I try to combine Vibecoding OS into Archon? I'd like to try and see if I can do something to that effect. Maybe it will just be my own private use Archon.
Any feedback would be appreciated!
