"too much recursion" crash if a message contains too many emojis

If you view a message containing at most 256 emojis the app may crash.

Hi folks,
I’ve been investigating this issue and I think I may need some clarification on what the intended fix scope is.

From my testing:

Sending or pasting a very large number of emojis in a single message does not crash Cinny.
The crash only happens when opening the linked room, which contains a very large number of events, especially reactions.
From what I can see, when opening that room:
Cinny fetches a large timeline
Processes relations (reactions, edits, annotations)
Builds the message / relation tree
Then passes the fully built structure to React for rendering
My current fix only reduces rendering cost, which affects step 5, but the crash appears to occur earlier during timeline processing / relation aggregation.

So I’d like to clarify...

Is the expected fix to limit or optimize reaction / relation processing for large event counts (fix the linked room crashing)?
Or is the intention to specifically handle large emoji content differently?
