Crash when saving a TIFF with file extension tif instead of tiff #90
Description
Saving a TIFF-File with with the file extension tif instead of tiff results in a crash.
Tried it several times, always the same behavior.
As for TIFF-files the used extension of my most used program for image processing saves TIFF with extension tif, I used tif as file extension. After several crashes, I tried to save with extension tiff and it works. Again trying tif results in a crash.
System: Linux, Fedora 40 with manually installed Python3.10 (3.12 is otherwise used/standard).
