y-axis labels jumble for large scales

When histograms have lots of data, the y-axis labels jumble together.  It would be preferable if they auto-filtered (every 2nd label, every 5th label, etc.) to remain readable as the amount of data grows.

Joel recommends upgrading chart.js ( #4 ) before dealing with this issue.
