compile with gcc 14.2.0

hi,

to compile on debian  with gcc 14.2.0 , i found a way with passing those flags to configure: 
`./configure CXXFLAGS = -std=c++98 -Wall -Wextra -Wno-deprecated -fpermissive`

most examples do work, the graphic modes do work.

I'm letting this message here in case someone tries to compile it.
