Message are unread even after read the message

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Go to the message app
2. Read a unread read message
3. Back to home page
4. Now still the message shows unread

Expected behavior

Need to update unread messages and read messages properly

Actual behavior

Couldn't update the unread message to read properly

I tried multiple times and also uninstalled and reinstalled but the bug remains same

• What happens if you select the conversation and mark as read via the more menu?

I have this issue for only non conversation message like message from telecom carriear, otps.

If i select then click mark as read it works normally only after close the app and reopen

I found this thing only happens for flash message like after call end, data usage message.@naveensingh

Okay then, adding a new feature for this flash message to save or cancel the message after a call/data usage will sort out this issue?

No, it's a bug that needs to be fixed. The data/call usage messages being affected are just one example, and other threads might be affected as well. What happens if you delete the affected conversation? Does it still fail to mark the new conversation as read after a call?

No if i delete it would delete and also if i select the message and mark as read it still shows as a new message
