Hi. Its fine to use both the internal and external at the same time. They work independantly and have their own settings. At the moment each footswitch can only do one CC function. If you wanted to enable e.g. Modulation and also select Chorus at the same time, thats not currently possible from these footswitches. |

Hello everyone, what a nice project! I managed to build the 4.3” display from wave share with my Tonex pedal and it works like a charm. I’m using two internal foot switches for present up and down and I’m happy with it.
I would like to build another set of foot switches connected externally to the SX1509 board, who should only be able to switch Delay, Chorus, Reverb, Phaser.
Is it generally possible to use both the internal and external foot switches at the same time?
I found the MiDI commands for switching MOD, Delay, Reverb. However, there is another set of Midi Commands for switching within MOD, i.e. Chorus, Phaser, flanger, etc. does that mean I basically need three foot switches (MOD on, Chorus on, Phaser on ) for my effect switches? Or can one switch send two MIDI Control Changes (e.g. 32 &33 for Chorus) at the same time?
thanks!
