If you would like i can reopen my pr with the unrelated changes removed but tbh my code isnt great so just going from scratch might be better

If worked on, I'd probably do quite differently than in your PR, so I don't think that's needed.

fair enough ive never really done anything in php before but i wanted to have a go at implementing it myself it would be really useful for the minecraft plugin manager extension im making as i could let users schedule auto updates
