How to install the datastore server?

We would like to move some services from google cloud datastore to our own servers. Is there any guide how to install the datastore service (i.e. locally or on a bare metal server) alone without the other appengine stuff (we don't use appengine)?

@mihaiav I think this is not possible with AppScale, also as announced GTS is not officially supported anymore. You can certainly run GTS (based on my experience) and just create an endpoint to access the database, something like this.
